Vettel not happy with Monaco set up

Sebastian Vettel has said that he is not happy with the way his Ferrari felt in the free practice sessions for the Monaco Grand Prix, although Vettel is confident that the team can get it in sorted in time for qualifying on Saturday.

FP1 and FP2 were led by the charging Red Bulls of Ricciardo and Verstappen who secured a one-two in both sessions. Vettel said that the Red Bulls are looking strong he also knows that anything can happen Sunday in the race too.

“On Saturday you’ll see how Sunday will go,” Vettel said.

“That doesn’t take away the fact that Red Bull look very strong, that’s nothing new, however, so we’ll have to wait and see if they’re as strong on Saturday as they were today.

“Besides, it’s Monaco, so a lot can happen, nothing is normal here.”

While talking about his own sessions Vettel said:

“On this circuit, you have to feel good in your car.

“That’s not the case yet.

“The balance can be much better, and I’m drifting too much.

“We’ll have to work on that, but I expect the car to be as good as normal during qualifying.”
